Note: This course contains content that is substantially similar to The Lawyer’s In-Depth Guide to Illinois Civil Unions that was presented by IICLE® in December 2011 but with important updates. Illinois MCLE Rules provide that an attorney may not claim credit for attending the same CLE course in a 12-month period.

Rapid Changes Require Rapid Response. Join IICLE® for the latest on Illinois Civil Unions!

Are you ready to advise your clients on their rights and the legal and financial impact of entering into a civil union Illinois? Do you have pressing questions that you'd like to ask?

We've brought back a distinguished panel of Illinois attorneys who will present the latest updates on this rapidly evolving area of the law and get the opportunity to discuss the issues and present your most pressing practice questions.

Become familiar with the full range of rights and protections that do and do not exist under this new Illinois law and map out a plan for your clients that will take into account:

    • State and federal income taxes
    • Estate planning

You'll walk away from this fast-paced, practice-focused half-day session, with up-to-date information on this new law and a practical approach to addressing client needs.

All speakers get excellent ratings, all materials were excellent as was the Q & A period. From a technical perspective this webcast was far above other webcasts I have attended.
